Two Comedy Shorts for the Price of One

Last Saturday’s adventure.

On Saturday I managed to squeeze some filming in before everywhere is plastered in tinsel and Christmas hysteria reaches full pitch.

Helen Alderson, a friend from work, lent me her beautiful home while she and her family were away for the weekend – very trusting must say. So we had a great location.

The plan was to shoot two short comedy sketches in one day. A good friend of mine Ash, writing buddy from Scriptwriting North, and myself have been writing a collection of sketches to shoot, with the manifesto that they should be under two minutes long and funny. We’ve already broken the first rule with several of them, but I’ll let you decide whether we’ve achieved the second one.

We found two actors, Amir Rahimzadeh and Sharon Heywood, who we knew could act ,and more importantly do comedy, and were ably assisted on the day by the brilliant Adele Myers from…
